Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation Hosts 10th Annual Veterans Event

On Wednesday, November 11th, Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation, located at 111 Church Street, sponsored its 10th Annual Veterans Day luncheon as part of the Middletown area ceremonies to honor local veterans.  Over 40 community and resident veterans as well as Mayor Dan Drew and representatives from Middletown’s Common Council enjoyed a complimentary lunch provided by the facility.
A special recognition was presented this year by Harry Ruffin Jr. American Legion Post # 206 to Director of Community Relations, Laura Falt and Water’s Edge.  The Certificate of Appreciation was given “in recognition and sincere appreciation for exhibiting outstanding and continuing support on behalf of America’s veterans,” as read in the document.
According to Falt, “it has been our pleasure and honor to host this event on an annual basis.  It is our way to give back and thank our veterans for their sacrifice and service, and remember those who are currently serving,” Falt stated.
